Hi there, my name is Jessica!
I have graduated from two top universities where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science, with a speciality in Sociology and Life Science Courses; as well as a Law Degree. Not to mention, I have experience working at a well-known and established tutoring company which teaches subjects to a wide variety of students, including those with learning disabilities.

I began tutoring in 2013 where I taught students from Senior Kindergarten to adults, English (including English as a Second Language). This included how to read, write, and comprehend their school material such as: short stories, novels, and poems. This led to me becoming familiar with the Ontario Curriculum and ensuring I was capable of teaching to the continuously changing requirements.

With my considerable experience from my university courses and love for teaching, I expanded the subjects I taught to include math, science, and social science. During my university degree, I studied and excelled in Sociology (the study of human behaviour and social relationships), Anthropology (the study of human cultures and linguistics), Psychology (the study of the human mind), Mathematics, as well as Law – which I later earned another degree in.

Furthermore, earning a Law degree has allowed me to study many subjects such as Contract Law, Tort Law, and Criminal Law; which has empowered me to expand my extensive knowledge in English, writing, and reading comprehension – which I can’t wait to share with my students!
