“A good teacher is like a torch; it leads every step to a bright path of destination”. This guiding principle endeavors me to lead a meaningful experience in teaching. For over 20 years of dedicated teaching service, the Council of Ontario College of Teachers granted me full teaching license in recognition of my skills, knowledge, trust and responsibilities. I am an Internationally Educated Teacher with degrees in Master of Arts in Science and Bachelor of Elementary Education at the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University-La Union, Philippines. In addition to professional growth, I continually upgraded my skills in teacher training qualification program at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education-University of Toronto. As a testament of professionalism, yours truly was awarded as one of the “Most Outstanding Public-School Teacher in 2012″ by the Department of Education and the Provincial Government of La Union, Philippines. I also had various training spectrum on Info-Teach, ICT, Assessment, Understanding by Design, Test Construction and Interpretation, Grammar, Reading and Writing, Investigative Strategies in Math, and Action Research. Being a Program Teacher at StudentScholars, your child will be able to master, increase confidence and understand topics on core subjects by supporting him/her with skill-based practice, utilizing approaches such as process and guided learning, technology integration and practical intervention. These techniques will aim to prepare your child not only to advance in academic competencies but also to develop his/her critical thinking, creativity, collaborating and problem-solving skills essential in the 21st century.
