Dr. Manohar Sah, with outstanding academic record, is an enormously experienced individual in the field of teaching and learning Mathematics in Nepal. His formal teaching profession started in 2008 after being awarded with the degree of Ph.D. in Mathematics Education from the University of Lucknow. However, he started his teaching career from the very beginning of his college life. He taught Mathematics in different educational institutes and university in London, UK.
He also has more than 4 years of teaching experience with high school students in a tutoring center in Canada. He has had the opportunity to work with both the international and the domestic students. His teaching method includes active forms of learning with the use of hands-on activities and integration of technology that also incorporates class discussions and open-ended questions.
He has worked as Co-Author of “A Text Book of Business Mathematics for Grade XII for HSEB which is being taught popularly in different colleges of Nepal. He is further working on publishing some other books of Mathematics for Master’s and Bachelor’s levels.
In addition to the academic achievement, Mr. Sah has taken part in several workshops and training programs related with Mathematics and Research in Education. He is an active member of Council for Mathematics Education Kathmandu and general member of London Mathematical Society, UK as well as the general member of Promotion of Educational Activities and Research, University of Lucknow.
