Coding is the process of creating instructions for computers to follow. Just like people use different languages such as English and Spanish, so do programs. Roblox uses the coding language Lua.

In Roblox, lines of Lua code are held in scripts. These scripts give the game sets of instructions on how to give players health points, create a rain of fireballs, or anything else imaginable.

Lesson 2: Making a Script 
Lesson 3: Loops and Colors
Lesson 4: Functions and Fire
Lesson 5: Traps and Buttons
Lesson 6: Function Parameters and If/then statements
Lesson 7: Powerups
Lesson 8: For loops and glowing
Lesson 9: timed bridge
Lesson 10: Race course
Lesson 11: Points
Lesson 12: Self-building tower

Program Day & Time: Monday- 5:00 – 6:00 PM

Individual programs will be scheduled as per instructor’s and student’s availability. Please contact us to schedule the class.

Listed fee is per 30-minutes once a week. We charge per class for a month.

Meet The Program Instructor:

Bryce Cooke

I am a B.Sc. Computer Security 3rd year undergrad at York University . I have programming knowledge in Arduino, Roblox (Lua), Scratch, Visual Basics, Python, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Java, C, RISC-V, GitHub, SQL, Verilog, Unix Shell Scripting and Terminal Commands.

When I was in high school, I volunteered to help elementary students with their homework after school. I have also worked as a camp counselor, online tutor and also was a member in the youth ministry.

I enjoy teaching Scratch and the Roblox coding language Lua. More specifically, I’ve not only taught kids how to make their own games much to their enjoyment, but also helped them to develop coding skills for the jobs of tomorrow.
