Our Sparks program is specially designed for young learners who benefit from individualized instruction, extra support, or alternative learning approaches. Geared toward children ages 4 to 7, Sparks provides a safe, engaging, and nurturing space where children can learn at their own pace, build confidence, and celebrate their unique strengths.

With small class sizes, personalized attention, and compassionate, certified educators, Sparks ignites a lifelong love of learning—setting the foundation for growth, discovery, and success.

Special Education Program | Foundational Math Skills

📚 Program Overview

The Sparks Math Curriculum is designed to build a strong foundation in early numeracy through engaging, multi-sensory, and individualized instruction. The curriculum is flexible and adapts to each child’s pace, interests, and learning style, ensuring that every student experiences success and gains confidence in their math abilities.

🌟 Key Focus Areas

1. Number Sense & Counting

  • Recognizing numbers 0–20

  • Rote counting (1–10, then 1–20)

  • One-to-one correspondence (matching one object to one number)

  • Comparing quantities (more, less, equal)

  • Understanding number order and sequencing

2. Basic Operations & Concepts

  • Introduction to addition and subtraction using concrete objects (e.g. counting bears, blocks)

  • Simple word problems with visual supports

  • Number stories and role-play math

3. Shapes & Spatial Awareness

  • Identifying and naming 2D shapes (circle, square, triangle, rectangle)

  • Exploring 3D shapes (cube, sphere, cone)

  • Sorting and classifying by shape, size, and color

  • Positional words (above, below, next to, in front of)

4. Measurement & Comparison

  • Understanding big vs. small, tall vs. short, heavy vs. light

  • Using non-standard units to measure (e.g. hands, blocks)

  • Comparing lengths, heights, and weights with visuals and manipulatives

5. Patterns & Sorting

  • Recognizing, creating, and extending simple patterns (AB, AAB, ABC)

7. Money Awareness (Intro)

  • Identifying coins and basic values (focus on visuals and hands-on play)

Tuition Fees 2025-2026

PRIVATE SCHOOL Fee Schedule —Sparks Program - Ages 4 to 7

  • Registration Fee (New Students Only): A one-time, non-refundable fee of $350 is required upon initial enrollment.

  • Annual Program Fee: $550 per year, payable at registration. This non-refundable fee covers in-house events, program materials, and the yearbook.

  • Enrollment Commitment: Enrollment is for the full academic year.

Sparks Program - Ages 4 to 7

-5 Full Days  •  Monday to Friday  •  8:30 AM – 3:30 PM  • $21,900/ single payment or  $7,300/3 payments or $2,200.00/month 

-5 Full Days (Extended)  •  Monday to Friday  •  7:30 AM – 6:00 PM  •  $25,890/ single payment or $8,630/3 payments or  $2,600.00/month

Fee is inclusive of  academic materials and a healthy lunch

💳 2025–2026 Tuition & Payment Policy

At StudentScholars, we are committed to providing high-quality individualized education in a supportive, small-group environment. To maintain our low student-to-teacher ratios and consistent programming, we ask that families adhere to the following payment policies for the 2025–2026 academic year.

📅 Registration Policy

  • A non-refundable Registration Fee of $350, along with a non-refundable $550 annual Event and Material Fee, is required to secure your child’s placement for the 2025–2026 school year.

  • These fees allow us to plan staffing and classroom resources in advance and are essential to maintaining our 6:1 student-to-teacher ratio.

  • The registration and material fees are only refundable if cancellation occurs prior to August 25, 2025.

💰 Tuition Fees

  • Annual Tuition: $21,900 for the 2025–2026 academic year

  • Tuition covers the core school day program from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

  • Tuition does not include extended care, transportation, or camp programs.

🧾 Payment Options

To provide flexibility, we offer the following tuition payment options:

  1. Full Payment

    • Payable at the time of enrollment or by August 25, 2025

  2. Installment Plan

    • Monthly or quarterly installments are available for an administrative fee

    • Families selecting this option must submit post-dated cheques for the full year or arrange scheduled electronic payments

    • A payment schedule will be provided at the time of enrollment

⏰ Late Payments & Delinquent Accounts

  • Tuition payments are due as per the agreed schedule.

  • Accounts past 30 days due may be subject to Late Payment Fees.

  • Students with unpaid tuition or fees may be suspended from classes, school activities, and re-enrollment, unless acceptable arrangements have been made with the administration.

📥 Mid-Year Entry

Students joining the program after September 3, 2025, will be charged a pro-rated tuition fee based on the number of school days remaining. The registration fee of $550 will still apply.

🕓 Extended Day Program

We offer optional Before and After School programming to support working families:

  • Hours: 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

  • Fee:  •  $25,890/ single payment or $8,630/3 payments or  $2,600.00/month

  • Enrollment is monthly and space is limited

🏕️ Camps (Summer & Break Weeks)

  • Summer Camp and other seasonal camps are not included in annual tuition.

  • Camp participation is optional and charged separately at posted rates.

  • Space is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

📤 Withdrawal Policy

  • Withdrawal must be submitted in writing to the school administration.

  • Withdrawals before August 25, 2025 will receive a full tuition refund excluding the registration and material fees.

  • Withdrawals after August 25, 2025 will receive a 50% reimbursement of the unused portion of tuition for the remainder of the school year.

  • Any unpaid fees at the time of withdrawal will be due in full.

🚐 Transportation

  • Transportation services are available through independent drivers.

  • Pick-up and drop-off pricing is arranged directly with the provider.
