We offer our programs at different locations, including the Markham Public library where we offer a wide range of programs online and in-person.
Due to requests from parents, we have made the decision to offer our programs in the mornings for kids ages 4 to 12 years from JK to Gr 8 starting September 2024-2025 school year.
Our goal is to help each student to succeed irrespective of their learning difficulties, and habits.
You may decide to send your child to our Centre due to several reasons:

You may feel that your child is too young to attend a public school and would like to start with a small group program.

Your child may have learning difficulties and therefore, you may decide that a customized approach is more beneficial for your child.

You may have arrived in Canada from another country and your child has difficulty understanding and speaking English.

You may decide to home-school your child due to personal reasons, and may require help with some subjects.

Our Special Ed Programs Includes:

-Group program (up to 3 students): $25/hour a class. Additional: $10 a month material fee for art
-Semi-Private Class (2 students): $35/hour a class

Assessment & Class structure: We will conduct an assessment during the 1st lesson to find out if we have the necessary expertise, and environment to help your child. Further, we may decide to discontinue your child's class at any time, for the same.

What We Offer:

Our programs are offered to students from JK to Gr 8.

You can decide to send your child monthly or on days you prefer during the week for drop-in programs. We also, offer full day or half day programs.
Description of our group programs:
-
Math: After an initial assessment, students will follow a customized math program. The program will be as per the student's math level, not by their grade level. We cover Ontario topics at the Singapore math level. Singapore math is considered to be the best in the world for math and covers mental math, problem solving and real word problems. Students will also be assessed after each topic.

Language Arts: After an initial assessment, students will follow a customized language program. The program program covers the Ontario level in reading, writing, grammar, and spelling.

Science: Students will learn the Ontario science curriculum as per their grade level. Students will also work on individual and group projects and experiments to further understand the concepts they learn.

Social studies/ History: Students will learn the social studies Ontario curriculum and additionally, geography, and history. This program is an interactive, fun group program. Students will also work on individual and group projects to showcase what they have learnt.

French: After an assessment is conducted, students will be join a beginner, intermediate or an advance level group French program. French program covers; Reading, writing, speaking and grammar.

Art: Students will learn how to use different medium; pencil crayons, oil pastels, acrylic paint, chacoal. Students will learn to draw landscapes, portraits, animals, abstract art, objects, & animation figures.

Robotics & STEM: Our robotics & STEM program offers the LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Essential gets primary school students excited about hands-on STEAM learning. This playful, narrative-based learning experience is part of the LEGO Learning System and encourages students to investigate STEAM concepts while contributing to literacy, math, and social-emotional development. Students will build a wide range of projects in each class, and use coding for it to move.

Coding: We offer a variety of high-demand coding programs.
Scratch - If your child is new to coding, Scratch would be a great way to start. Scratch is a high-level, block-based visual programming language and website aimed primarily at children as an educational tool, with a target audience of ages 8 to 16. Students will learn to create a wide range of projects using scratch in class.
Python - Students who have a basic idea in programming could move on to python. Students will learn the fundamentals in python and learn to create a wide range of projects in class.
Web design - Students will learn to build their own website with a variety of functionality, including different pages, colours, images and more.
9. Music Group -This program is friendly, musical, and playful environment where children can explore a world of learning while building a sturdy musical foundation. This program will cover

10. Media & Public speaking - Public speaking cultivates leadership qualities in students, empowering them to take charge and inspire others. Whether they're leading a group discussion, delivering a presentation, or participating in a public debate, students learn how to command attention, motivate their peers, and rally support for their ideas. In this class students will learn the techniques of public speaking and presenting, different approaches to writing an effective speech, creating powerpoint presentations, and last but not least, students will receive ample opportunities to exhibit what they learn in class by presenting to audiences.
11. Drama Club: Students will get an opportunity to put their creativity into play by acting/participating in short plays. Students will not only grow in their self -confidence by performing to audiences, but also improve in their voabulary, public speaking skills, memorization, and also learn to work in a team.
12. Reading Club: This is a fun and interactive program to help students to create an interest in reading, organize their thoughts, and share their ideas with their peers. At each class, a different genre of books will be selected by the teacher. Students will be asked to present book reports, and also create individual and group projects based on the books they read.
13. Craft - This program will help our juniors to improve their motor skills, and grow their creativity while having fun. Students will learn to create wide range of crafts projects at each class.
14. Voice Lessons - This is a fun and interactive class. Students will learn classical, pop and dinsey songs and grow their passion and creativity in music. They will also learn to train their voices and participate in a final year concert.
15. Chess - We offer a beginner, intermediate and advanced chess programs. Students will be grouped and taught chess strategies as per their level. Students will also get an opportunity to take part in center -ide and public tournaments.
All our students will participate in an end of the year concert. Which includes music recitals, English and French public speaking speeches, drama, chess tournaments and displaying what they learnt via demonstrations for Robotics & STEM, 3d Printing & coding programs.

Drop-in Programs: We offer drop-in programs. This program allows you to decide on the days and subjects you want to register your child to. Fee is $15 a subject. Art lessons includes $5 per month for material fee.

Half Day Programs: If you require half day programs either 9:00 am – 11:15 pm (2 subjects) or 11:15 pm to 1:45 pm (2 subjects). The daily half day program rate is $30. Art lessons includes $5 per month for material fee.

Full Day Programs: Our full day programs run from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm from Monday to Friday. Students will cover 4 programs each day. Full day pricing is $80 and Monthly rate is: $1,760. If you require early drop off between 7:30 - 8:30 am, it will be $10 per day.

For Individual 1-on-1 Programs - Our teachers will create a customized program for your child after an assessment if your child requires 1 on 1 attention. We schedule the class as per the student's and teacher's availability.

If you require a different schedule, or additional subjects from our schedule/ subjects listed below, please let us know. Our team will work with you to come up with a customized plan to suite your requirements.

In order to start a class, we need a minimum of 3 students in a class. We will only take maximum of 6 students a class to provide a customized program for each student.

We are always open to hear your suggestions, and comments in order to help your child/ren succeed in our programs. Please feel free to communicate with our admin team and teachers.

Please feel free to refer our programs to friends/family or other home schooling parents. We will offer a free group class if they register.

FAQ
1. Can I select any subject?
Yes!, you are welcome to select any subject from the schedule above.
We can also start new classes as per your requirement, only criteria is that we need to have minimum 3 students to start a class. We take maximum up to 6 students a class.
2. Is the fee $15 for any subject?
Yes!, any subject is $15 a class. This is a special rate for homeschooled kids.
For art lessons, there is a $5 material fee for the month.
3. Do I pay monthly?
Yes!, you are required to register for the month.
IE- If you register for a Monday class, and there are 4 mondays that month, you will pay for 4 classes on the 1st of the month.
4. What if I miss a class, do I get a refund?
As we only take a limited number of students a class, we do not offer refunds.
We can credit it for the next month. However, you need to let us know at least 24 hours in advance. If you let us know the same day, the fee will be forfeited.
5. Do I get a free class if I refer programs?
Yes, if you refer our programs and a family joins, you will receive a free class.
6. Do you offer individual lessons?
Yes, we offer special individual and group classes. Individual classes are:
$30/ 30 minutes
$40/45 minutes
$50/ 1 hour
7. Do you offer Special Ed Programs?
Yes, we offer special ed programs offered by Specialized Special Ed Teachers. Please see above for more information regarding the special ed programs we offer. Please contact us to find out more information or schedule a class.
