After-School Transport is provided by independent drivers to students attending schools in Markham to the StudentScholars Centre.

Safety Measures: 1. Independent driver will arrange for child seats which are safe and approved by HTA. 2. Driver will be responsible for picking the child from school, ensuring child is safely brought to the vehicle and fastened with seat belts, help the child to safely leave the car and dropped off at the centre. 3. The vehicle is insured and the driver is a licensed driver *

Late Pickup: If the driver is running late, we will inform the parent 1-hour early so that the parent can inform the school for the child to wait in the school office. *

Unable To Pickup: If under unavoidable circumstances the driver is not able to pick up your child driver will inform the parent 24-hours in advance so that the parent can make alternate arrangements to drop the child at the centre *

Injuries or Accidents Outside the Centre Premises: StudentScholars takes the safety of all of our students very seriously. In the unfortunate event of an injury or accident outside the centre premises, StudentScholars will not be held responsible or liable for any physical or psychological injury, damages, or economical or emotional loss that may be suffered as a result of using transportation services. *

Emergency Procedure: Driver may arrange for the transportation of the child to the emergency department of the nearest clinic or hospital in the event of an accident, illness or any other emergency. *
