Neeraja Chinthala
As a Science and Math teacher for more than 9 years, I’ve found that my passion and commitment to teaching have only grown with every year.
Even with the complexities of the current educational landscape, the feeling of getting through to that student who just wasn’t getting the hang of it or helping advanced students achieve their goals, never gets old. I have dedicated my career to helping students of elementary and high school levels master the Science and Math skills and concepts they need to go on to college and everyday life beyond high school.
Through my experiences, I have been able to work with a variety of students possessing different levels of achievement and personalities. This has enabled me to develop proven problem solving, teaching, and organizational abilities in classroom management and discipline. I have learned that the development of a good lesson plan is the basis for good teaching. Because all students learn differently, I was able to assess their learning styles and develop lesson plans that were both interactive and adaptive to a student’s particular needs.
By molding the courses being taught to a student’s abilities and interests, the student’s performance levels increased dramatically, along with their interest and enthusiasm towards continued learning.
