Our French Immersion program, offered for students from Grade 1 through Grade 3, provides a supportive and engaging environment where young learners thrive in both English and French.

Through our comprehensive French curriculum, students engage in a rich educational experience that includes French Language, English, Math, Science, Geography & History, STEM, Computers & Robotics, Visual Arts, Drama, Music, Physical Education, and Character Education. All subjects will be taught in French. Learning is hands-on and inquiry-based, helping students develop strong communication and critical thinking skills in both languages.

📘 Math Curriculum – Grades 1 to 3 (French Immersion)

StudentScholars Inc. Private School – Ontario Curriculum-Based

At StudentScholars Inc., our French Immersion Math Program for Grades 1 to 3 is built on the Ontario Ministry of Education's mathematics curriculum, fully delivered in French. Students learn core mathematical concepts while developing fluency in French vocabulary, listening, and communication. Instruction is hands-on, inquiry-based, and differentiated to meet the individual needs of all learners.

✨ Key Strands of the Ontario Math Curriculum (Grades 1–3)

  1. Mathematical Thinking and Processes / Pensée mathématique

    • Developing problem-solving skills and mathematical reasoning

    • Using strategies like estimating, predicting, and visualizing

    • Encouraging students to explain thinking in French orally and in writing

  2. Number Sense and Numeration / Sens du nombre et numération

    • Understanding numbers and place value (whole numbers up to 1000 by Grade 3)

    • Basic operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and introduction to division

    • Mental math strategies and fact fluency

    • Introduction to fractions (Grade 3): recognizing halves, thirds, fourths

  3. Algebra / Algèbre

    • Recognizing and creating patterns (e.g., colour, shape, number patterns)

    • Using variables and expressions in simple equations (Grade 3)

    • Representing relationships with numbers and symbols

    • Exploring equality and inequalities

  4. Data and Probability / Données et probabilités

    • Collecting and organizing data using charts, tallies, and pictographs

    • Interpreting data and making simple inferences

    • Exploring probability using terms like “certain,” “possible,” and “impossible”

  5. Geometry and Spatial Sense / Géométrie et sens de l’espace

    • Identifying and describing 2D shapes and 3D figures

    • Understanding symmetry, transformations (flip, slide, turn)

    • Describing position and movement using directional vocabulary (in French)

  6. Measurement / Mesure

    • Understanding time (clocks and calendars)

    • Measuring length, width, height, mass, and volume using standard units

    • Comparing and estimating measurements

    • Introduction to money concepts (coins and change)

  7. Financial Literacy / Littératie financière

    • Recognizing Canadian coins and bills

Tuition Fees 2025-2026

PRIVATE SCHOOL Fee Schedule —French Immersion Program - GR 1 TO 3

  • Registration Fee (for new registrants) – $350 one time non-refundable.

  • Annual Program Fee (In-house events, Program Material, Year Book) – $550 per year upon registration. Non-refundable.

  • Enrolment is for the whole school year.

  • NO refunds for illness, vacation time or school holidays. The fees are subject to change.

 

French Immersion (6-8 Years Old) – French Immersion Program

5 Full Days  •  Monday to Friday  •  8:30 AM – 3:30 PM  • $21,900/ single payment or  $7,300/3 payments or $2,200.00/month 

5 Full Days (Extended)  •  Monday to Friday  •  7:30 AM – 6:00 PM  •  $25,890/ single payment or $8,630/3 payments or  $2,600.00/month

💳 2025–2026 Tuition & Payment Policy

At StudentScholars, we are committed to providing high-quality individualized education in a supportive, small-group environment. To maintain our low student-to-teacher ratios and consistent programming, we ask that families adhere to the following payment policies for the 2025–2026 academic year.

📅 Registration Policy

  • A non-refundable Registration Fee of $350, along with a non-refundable $550 School year Material Fee, is required to secure your child’s placement for the 2025–2026 school year.

  • These fees allow us to plan staffing and classroom resources in advance and are essential to maintaining our 6:1 student-to-teacher ratio.

  • The registration and material fees are only refundable if cancellation occurs prior to August 25, 2025.

💰 Tuition Fees

  • Annual Tuition: $21,900 for the 2025–2026 academic year

  • Tuition covers the core school day program from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

  • Tuition does not include extended care, transportation, or camp programs.

🧾 Payment Options

To provide flexibility, we offer the following tuition payment options:

  1. Full Payment

    • Payable at the time of enrollment or by August 25, 2025

  2. Installment Plan

    • Monthly or quarterly installments are available for an administrative fee

    • Families selecting this option must submit post-dated cheques for the full year or arrange scheduled electronic payments

    • A payment schedule will be provided at the time of enrollment

⏰ Late Payments & Delinquent Accounts

  • Tuition payments are due as per the agreed schedule.

  • Accounts past 30 days due may be subject to Late Payment Fees.

  • Students with unpaid tuition or fees may be suspended from classes, school activities, and re-enrollment, unless acceptable arrangements have been made with the administration.

📥 Mid-Year Entry

Students joining the program after September 3, 2025, will be charged a pro-rated tuition fee based on the number of school days remaining. The registration fee of $550 will still apply.

🕓 Extended Day Program

We offer optional Before and After School programming to support working families:

  • Hours: 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

  • Fee: $25,890/ single payment or $8,630/3 payments or  $2,600.00/month

  • Enrollment is monthly and space is limited

🏕️ Camps (Summer & Break Weeks)

  • Summer Camp and other seasonal camps are not included in annual tuition.

  • Camp participation is optional and charged separately at posted rates.

  • Space is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

📤 Withdrawal Policy

  • Withdrawal must be submitted in writing to the school administration.

  • Withdrawals before August 25, 2025 will receive a full tuition refund excluding the registration and material fees.

  • Withdrawals after August 25, 2025 will receive a 50% reimbursement of the unused portion of tuition for the remainder of the school year.

  • Any unpaid fees at the time of withdrawal will be due in full.

🚐 Transportation

  • Transportation services are available through independent drivers.

  • Pick-up and drop-off pricing is arranged directly with the provider.
