Our math curriculum is designed to build a strong foundation in number sense, problem-solving, and logical thinking. Through playful, hands-on experiences and real-life connections, children explore early math concepts in a fun and meaningful way.

1. Number Sense & Counting

  • Recognizing and writing numbers 0–20 and beyond

  • Counting forward and backward

  • One-to-one correspondence (counting objects accurately)

  • Understanding quantity and the concept of "more" and "less"

  • Introduction to place value (tens and ones)

2. Basic Addition & Subtraction

  • Using pictures, objects, and fingers to solve simple equations

  • Understanding the meaning of “adding” and “taking away”

  • Exploring number stories through real-life scenarios

  • Developing fluency with facts up to 10

3. Patterns & Sorting

  • Recognizing, creating, and extending simple patterns (AB, AAB, ABB, etc.)

  • Sorting and classifying objects by size, shape, color, or type

  • Comparing and describing attributes of objects

4. Shapes & Geometry

  • Identifying and naming 2D shapes (circle, square, triangle, rectangle, etc.)

  • Introduction to 3D shapes (sphere, cube, cone, cylinder)

  • Exploring shapes through art, play, and building activities

  • Understanding positional words (in, on, under, beside, etc.)

5. Measurement & Comparison

  • Measuring length, weight, and capacity using non-standard units (e.g., blocks, hands)

  • Comparing sizes (taller/shorter, heavier/lighter, more/less)

  • Exploring time using daily routines and simple clocks

  • Introduction to calendars, days of the week, and months of the year

6. Data & Graphing

  • Collecting data by asking simple questions (e.g., favorite color or weather)

Tuition Fees 2025-2026

Tuition Fees: School Year 2025-2026

  • Registration Fee (for new registrants) – $350 one time non-refundable.

  • Annual Program Fee (In-house events, Program Material, Year Book) – $550 per year upon registration. non-refundable.

  • Enrolment is for the whole school year.

Kindergarten (JK & SK) : Ages 4 & 5

💳 2025–2026 Tuition & Payment Policy

At StudentScholars, we are committed to providing high-quality individualized education in a supportive, small-group environment. To maintain our low student-to-teacher ratios and consistent programming, we ask that families adhere to the following payment policies for the 2025–2026 academic year.

📅 Registration Policy

  • A non-refundable Registration Fee of $350, along with a non-refundable $550 annual Event and Material Fee, is required to secure your child’s placement for the 2025–2026 school year.

  • These fees allow us to plan staffing and classroom resources in advance and are essential to maintaining our 6:1 student-to-teacher ratio.

  • The registration and material fees are only refundable if cancellation occurs prior to August 25, 2025.

💰 Tuition Fees

  • Annual Tuition: $18,600 for the 2025–2026 academic year

  • Tuition covers the core school day program from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

  • Tuition does not include extended care, transportation, or camp programs.

🧾 Payment Options

To provide flexibility, we offer the following tuition payment options:

  1. Full Payment

    • Payable at the time of enrollment or by August 25, 2025

  2. Installment Plan

    • Monthly or quarterly installments are available for an administrative fee

    • Families selecting this option must submit post-dated cheques for the full year or arrange scheduled electronic payments

    • A payment schedule will be provided at the time of enrollment

⏰ Late Payments & Delinquent Accounts

  • Tuition payments are due as per the agreed schedule.

  • Accounts past 30 days due may be subject to Late Payment Fees.

  • Students with unpaid tuition or fees may be suspended from classes, school activities, and re-enrollment, unless acceptable arrangements have been made with the administration.

📥 Mid-Year Entry

Students joining the program after September 3, 2025, will be charged a pro-rated tuition fee based on the number of school days remaining. The registration fee of $550 will still apply.

🕓 Extended Day Program

We offer optional Before and After School programming to support working families:

  • Hours: 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

  • Fee: $2,370 per month

  • Enrollment is monthly and space is limited

🏕️ Camps (Summer & Break Weeks)

  • Summer Camp and other seasonal camps are not included in annual tuition.

  • Camp participation is optional and charged separately at posted rates.

  • Space is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

📤 Withdrawal Policy

  • Withdrawal must be submitted in writing to the school administration.

  • Withdrawals before August 25, 2025 will receive a full tuition refund excluding the registration and material fees.

  • Withdrawals after August 25, 2025 will receive a 50% reimbursement of the unused portion of tuition for the remainder of the school year.

  • Any unpaid fees at the time of withdrawal will be due in full.

🚐 Transportation

  • Transportation services are available through independent drivers.

  • Pick-up and drop-off pricing is arranged directly with the provider.
