StudentScholars ‘French Immersion – Language & Math Program’ is for students attending French Immersion schools and who require help in Language or Math.

We offer Individual Help.

Program Day & Time:

Individual programs will be scheduled as per instructor’s and student’s availability. Please contact us to schedule the class.

Pricing is in Canadian Dollars

Listed fee is per 30-minutes once a week. We charge per class for a month.

45-Minutes: CAD $35

1-Hour: CAD $45

Meet The Program Instructor:

Irina Romanescu

Irina has been teaching with the York Region District School Board since 2010. During this time, she has been a homeroom teacher for Grades 1 – 6, and has taught many subjects such as French (in a French Immersion school), Math, English, Science and Social Studies. Having taught large classes of approximately 28 students, Irina has learned the importance of differentiating her instruction in order to meet the needs of all her learners. She believes in starting with the basics and in helping her students practice concepts in a meaningful way, by using authentic teaching materials.

Before starting her career as a teacher, Irina taught English for one year in France and for a year in South Korea. Both experiences were immensely rewarding, and they enabled her to travel in neighbouring countries, and learn cultures very different from her own!

These days, Irina is the proud mother of a beautiful, feisty 7-year old girl who is also in the French Immersion program.
