StudentScholars ‘IELTS Exam Preparation’ is geared towards helping students’ achieve high results at the IELTS Exam.

This is the test preparation program for IELTS, International English Language Testing System, which learners may require for immigration, further education or to apply for a job.

This program will prepare you for each of the four communication skills tested on IELTS – listening, reading, writing, and speaking. It is a hands-on and interactive program geared to boost confidence, personal development and improve communication skills in our learners.

Prior Experience:
A prior knowledge of English grammar, reading comprehension and essay writing will be beneficial to succeed in this program. This is not for beginner English learners.

Pricing is in Canadian Dollars

Listed fee is per 30-minutes once a week. We charge per class for a month.

Meet The Program Instructor:

Ekjot Kaur

Creative and versatile English teacher with learner-centered approach, I started my teaching career nine years ago shortly after earning my Master’s in English and Communication degree. With a strong focus towards my student’s learning styles and areas of strengths, I have successfully helped thousands of students of varying age and language ability to achieve their academic goals.

After starting out as an IELTS and TOEFL teacher, I helped students prepare for standardized tests such as the GMAT and the GRE for about three years, before moving in the direction of ESL. In addition to learning valuable teaching skills from CELTA and TESL certifications, I have created a unique classroom management style for different types of learner needs. Furthermore, as we communicate to achieve a variety of purposes and in a variety of ways, I adapt my teaching style to suit the learning goals.

Students benefit from the fun, engaging and encouraging teaching environment that I create in the classroom as it helps them absorb and retain learned concepts for a longer period of time. I prefer to teach grammar and other concepts by relating them to everyday life to ensure application of theory into practice. As an educator, I prioritize my students while also ensuring timely curriculum delivery.
