My philosophy among many is to teach, to inspire and to invoke change. I believe the learning process never stops and that there are many different ways to engage and support students towards the path of success. I wish to create a classroom where the students feel that learning is fun and meaningful. To achieve this, I strive to be creative in order to engage students’ interest and show the attitude of
being a learner as well.
A central theme in my philosophy of teaching is compassion and empathy. I believe that respect and care are crucial in any human action in our world. In any profession, and in anywhere one decides to live, surviving in society revolves around the ability to understand, empathize and be
compassionate towards all people from all walks of life. My hope is that when I emulate the characteristics that I wish to see from my students, my
students will also be curious and want to emulate them as well.
I believe in making learning meaningful to my students. This means adapting the curriculum current social situations and diverse backgrounds. I believe in getting to know my students – strengths, weaknesses, likes, dislikes – as best I can, so that I may help them to grow and learn. I believe in implementing goal-oriented lessons. I believe in teaching cross-curricular lessons.
Your child will be able to increase confidence and understand topics on core subjects by supporting them with guided learning, technology integration and practical intervention. These techniques will allow your child to excel both in and outside of classroom settings.
