STEAM- ‘Be An Engineer’ – Ages 4-7

Be An Engineer!
The Be an Engineer! program is an engineering-based program. Students explore how and why things work at a beginner level. They spend the class participating in hands-on learning activities. They will cover the following topics:
- Heat
- Sound
- Electricity
- Water Mechanics
- Potential and Kinetic Energy
- Forces
- Structures
- Light
Some of the class activities include: making an air powered propeller, Archimedes screw (a device that allows water to be pulled against gravity), basketball pendulum, conductive paint, dough circuits, drink dispensers, kaleidoscope, marshmallow catapult, parachutes, rubber band car, water clock and tin pan instruments.
Class Duration & Fee:
Listed fee is per 1-hour once a week.
Program Day & Time: Thursdays 4:30 – 5:30 PM/ 6:00 PM
